I'm testing out the google base submission.  My item keeps coming back as 'invalid'.  :(

Googlebase doesn't like special characters such as "&" in the titles.  You might want to try to alter that in your listing title.

I did, and I got the same error.  I don't see anything in my Google Base Dashboard, I only see the error listed on the message that Silkfair sends back when it does a submission.  Do I have to register a data feed?  If so, what do I call it?  I have two Google Base accounts, the one here and the one for my CubeCart store, Heart of Virginia Antiques & Collectibles.  How does the Silkfair system know where to submit?

no need to register for data feed.

The account we submit to is the one that you logged into when you first clicked on submit to google button in your shop.  That's the account that granted access to your silkfair shop.

Please forward the email error message to support.

Also, please note that submissions are batched up and handled once a day.

Batched and sent once a day?  Really?  How come it says I can click on the submit link any time I want if I need to get submitted outside the regular schedule?

Went to Google Base and submitted one item by hand.  That appears to have been published just fine, should be searchable soon.

So it's got to be something with the feed being submitted that's causing the 'invalid item' error.

I plan on having lots of items in the store, I can't do each one manually!

Hah!  Don't you just love Google Base sometimes?  They change stuff like this all the time and don't even have the courtesy to let people know.  Sheesh!

Thanks for checking it out!
